Executive Team

In the role of Vice President of Operations for ILSCO Corporation and ILSCO Extrusions Inc. Kevin Jenkins brings over 35 years of heavy industrial manufacturing experience.  Kevin spent over 25 years with Exide Corporation, a tier one supplier of lead acid batteries to the automotive and commercial markets, ending as Vice President of North American Operations prior to joining ILSCO Corporation in 2004.  He has degrees in both Business and Engineering and is a Six Sigma Master Black belt as well as being a Certified Labor Relations Professional. Kevin serves on multiple committees associated with the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). He resides in Cincinnati, OH and is a member of the ILSCO Extrusions Inc Board of Directors.

John Thigpen is the General Manager at IEI and brings 25 years of experience to his current leadership role. A 15-year extrusion industry veteran, John has spent the last decade in senior executive positions, as the Director – Werner Extruded Products and as President of Signature Aluminum. He has strong commercial operations and financial skills.  John holds degrees in both Accounting and Business Administration from Thiel College and earned his MBA from Penn State University. John has been a licensed CPA in the state of Pennsylvania since 1989.  He is a member of AICPA and PICPA, and sits on the Board of Associates at Thiel College.

Gary Jones has been part of the extrusion industry for 32 years, holding positions in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations Management.  He is a co-author of several ET papers and was a Best Paper award winner in 1984 and 2004.  Giving back to the industry, Gary serves on several technical committees at the Aluminum Extruders Council and the Aluminum Association.  Gary graduated from Penn State University with degrees in Metallurgical Engineering and Business.  He is the Operations Manager at IEI.

Howard Swartz is the Engineering Manager at IEI.  He has 31 years of plant engineering and maintenance experience with 28 of those being directly involved in the aluminum extrusion and climbing products industry.  Howard holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Technology from Penn State and Youngstown State Universities.  Howard’s strengths surround information technology and machine controls including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and combustion systems.  He is an active member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers and the National Fire Protection Association.
