In his role of Vice President of Operations for ILSCO Corp/ ILSCO Extrusions Inc. Kevin Jenkins brings over 35 years of heavy industrial manufacturing experience to the team. Kevin spent over 25 years with Exide Corporation, a tier one (1) supplier of lead acid batteries to the automotive and commercial markets, ending as Vice President of North American Operations prior to joining ILSCO Corp in 2004. He has degrees in both Business and Engineering and is a Six Sigma Master Black belt as well as being a Certified Labor Relations Professional. Kevin serves on multiple committees associated with the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). He resides in Cincinnati OH and is a member of the ILSCO Extrusions Inc Board of Directors.
John Thigpen brings 28 years of experience to the General Manager role at ILSCO Extrusions. He is responsible for driving strategy at IEI and is accountable for the company’s growth and overall health. An 18 year extrusion industry veteran, John has spent more than a decade in senior executive roles as the Director – Werner Extruded Products and as the President of Signature Aluminum. He has strong commercial operations and financial skills. John holds degrees in both Accounting and Business Administration from Thiel College and earned his MBA from Penn State University. John has been a licensed CPA in the state of Pennsylvania since 1989. He is a member of AICPA and PICPA, and sits on the Board of Associates at Thiel College and Board of Directors of Penn-Northwest Development Corporation.
Gary Jones is an extrusion veteran of 36 years, holding positions in Quality, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations Management. Gary is the Commercial Operations Manager at ILSCO Extrusions Inc. He manages the customer relationship and sales engineering teams, and oversees IEI’s network of commissioned sales representatives. He has co-authored several ET papers and was a Best Paper award winner in 1984 and 2004. He is currently on the planning committee for ET ’16. Gary also serves on technical committees at the Aluminum Extruders Council and The Aluminum Association. In 2013 he received the Volunteer of the Year award from the AEC, recognizing his significant contributions to the industry. Gary graduated from Penn State University with degrees in Metallurgical Engineering and Business.
Howard Swartz is the Engineering Manager at ILSCO Extrusions, Inc. He has 32 years of plant engineering and maintenance experience with 28 of those being directly involved in multiple aluminum extrusion plants and presses. Howard holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Technology from Penn State and Youngstown State University. His strengths surround information technology and machine controls including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and combustion systems. He is an active member of Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers and the National Fire Protection Association.
Larry Stainbrook is IEI’s Manufacturing Operations Manager. He joined the team in 2014. In his role Larry is responsible for all planning, production, quality, die shop, inventory, and shipping activities at the company. His 32 years of manufacturing operations and commercial sales experience provide a solid blend of skills for leading our growing workforce. Larry has degrees in Tool and Die Design from Alliance College and Applied Sciences from Slippery Rock University. He has worked with aluminum throughout his entire career including a long stretch with Werner Co. and just under a decade with a leading international aluminum roll forming company.
